Opening 2016

 Protea Hotel Kigali is set to open in 2016 in the city of Kigali, which is located in Rwanda only ten minutes from the International Convention Centre. AFRICAN PRIDE AVALON HOTEL & SPA, NIGERIA

Opening Q2 2016

Nigeria’s debut African Pride Hotel is set to open in 2016 and will be located in the government residential area of Ikeja, Lagos in close proximity to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Golf Club and Ikeja Shopping Mall. The deluxe African Pride Avalon Hotel & Spa will feature 158 luxurious bedrooms and facilities include 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a spa and swimming pool, as well as retail outlets. This exceptional hotel will also offer world-class conference facilities with a seating capacity of up to 200 delegates in its larger venues.

Opening Q3 2016

Work has commenced on the construction of a new Protea Hotel in Zambia, located in the city of Ndola opposite the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium along the important Ndola-Kitwe dual carriageway. The building will be a 2-floor hotel offering 80 rooms, as well as three conference rooms. Large conferences of up to 100 delegates will be possible in the facilities. In terms of size, this will be the second largest hotel in the city, and it is anticipated that up to 180 jobs will be created through this new initiative.
