May 2015: African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel and Spa have adopted the Pebbles Project as a social cause and will be supporting their work in the Bellevue farm community near Stellenbosch.

African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa staff were first exposed to the work of the Pebbles Project during the “Spirit to Serve” activity of their 2015 Marriott Middle Eastern and African Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management & Global Sales conference held at African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa in Cape Town.

Since its inception in 2004 the Pebbles Project has been making an impact in multiple underprivileged farming communities around the Western Cape Winelands. The Pebbles Project believes in assisting these communities in the areas of education, nutrition, health, community, and protection.

The delegates attending the Marriott Middle Eastern and African Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management & Global Sales conference teamed up with The Pebbles Project to plant a vegetable garden and fix and paint the local community after-school care centre. They also built a new children’s jungle gym, planted trees, improved the community sports field and erected a perimeter fence. African Pride Crystal Tower Hotel & Spa staff were so inspired by the experience, that they will be continuing the work to support this community.

Working together with the Pebbles Project, African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa are hoping they can help contribute to a small community, to make a huge difference.
